“Even though he’s young and fresh-faced, Nga Wang is an old-hand in Tibet. He’s a smart, resourceful guy who knows how to listen to what his clients want, get things done, and make the most of your time in Tibet. If you're looking for a local Tibetan guide to show you the real Tibet, do yourself a favor and hire the guy!”

“Nga Wang was simply amazing. He was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about every sight we saw. He was also able to focus his tour on the parts of Tibet and the aspects of the culture that were most interesting to us. In addition, he is just a wonderful person. It was a pleasure to spend a week with him and to get to know him. It has been a couple of years, but I still share emails with him and consider Nga Wang as a friend.”

"Nga Wang provided a very special experience for my wife and me when we visited Tibet. He was very knowledgeable but, more than that, he gave us entree into a private world that we could easily have missed altogether. After we left Tibet, we recommended him to our son and the two of them had an extraordinary time in Lhasa and then in making the mountain crossing to Nepal."

“(Nga) made our travels in Tibet fun and exciting. Our visit to the monastery during the festival was the one of the most spiritually interesting adventures of my life. Meeting young monks who were his classmates gave us a unique inside look into traditional monastic life. His suggestion to circumnavigate the hilltop made the day. We have many great photos with wide vistas over the expansive river valley and Himalayan ranges with colorful prayer flags filling the foreground. We will remember these places and the unique opportunities that he provided us forever.”

“Nga Wang was a delightful and diligent guide for our two weeks in Tibet and we enjoyed the experience very much. His irrepressible personality and enthusiasm for his work lifted our spirits each day and his knowledge of the country and its customs is excellent. The two of us in our small party had a great time and we do recommend him to you.”

“I loved how proud Nga was of his homeland and people. He was very efficient and pleasant, as he took our group to many of the tourist highlights in and around Lhasa, and as far as Mt. Everest Base Camp. I remember that he was always well organized with our tickets, accommodation and other arrangements. I also remember one of the highlights of my trip was when he took us on a ‘behind the scenes’ of the monastery where the people were working and singing as they restored the area. That was very moving for me. They looked so at peace and happy. I had tears in my eyes.... I often think of our trip, which was truly a trip of a lifetime!”

“I had a great holiday to Tibet recently with my group of 12 people, led by our local, charming Tibetan tour guide, Nga Wang. We were met at the Lhasa train station by him and was looked after by him right through. We were showed around Lhasa, visited Jokhang Temple, Sera Monastey, Potala Palace, Norbulinka Museum etc by Nga Wang. Our tour extended to Gyantse, Shigatse, Mt Everest base camp, Zhangmu and to Nepal border lasting 2 weeks. It was very nice to have someone like Naga Wang to be our guide as he has extensive knowledge of the Tibetan culture, Buddhism and Thangka painting. Throughout our tour Nga Wang organised the transport, accommodation, passports checks, meals, entry permits, rest area and so on. And he also took care of individual needs like - going to the Pharmacy, Arts shops. He is friendly, very honest and polite to people and I have nothing more to add but praise of this very man who made our holiday so remarkable. I highly recommend Nga Wang for any Tibetan trips to fellow travelers.”

"If you're going to Tibet, I highly recommend Nga Wang as a original Tibetan tour guide or tour Operator. I went to Tibet with 2 friends in 2005 and Nga Wang was very helpful, professional, punctual, informative and fun to talk with! I terribly suffered from altitude disease for 2 days and I think he saved my life! We had a great time with him visiting Shigatze and other places around! Highly recommended!

"We went in 2007 with a group of 9 people to Tibet. Nga Wang was our Tibetan tout guide during the two weeks we were traveling around Tibet. He was a wonderful guide. He told us everything we wanted to know about the temples, he was helpful when we had troubles explaining ourselves to people in restaurants and hotels, he always smiled and he became a good friend during the trip. I really recommend him for an amazing tour to Tibet!"

In September 2009 I had the great chance to visit Tibet together with a group of 60 students. Although seeing Tibet was special itself-it was even better to have Ngawang as our guide! He picked us up from the airport and welcomed us with prayer shawls and water bottles.
Before we arrived he organized all the paperwork, accommodations and restaurant-reservations. Ngawang showed us the most important places of Lhasa (Potala Palace, Norbulingka,...) and arranged a trip to the Namtso lake-which is the most beautiful lake in the world.
Ngawang was not only a fabulous guide, but he even became a friend of us!
If you ever get the chance to visit Tibet I highly recommend Ngawang as an original Tibetan guide."
